Instagram similarly stores your like posts to Facebook. This history can be accessed within the Instagram app. This handy feature is hidden in the settings, so not many people know about it. If you wish to view the images and videos you liked on Instagram, you can see which ones you liked. You can also quickly like specific posts you liked in the past without manually searching for them.
Sometimes, social media interactions like Instagram can feel fleeting. You may forget that you saw a post you liked after liking it.
Do you want to see all the videos and photos you have liked? Although viewing all the photos and videos you like is impossible, you can see the 300 most recent posts.
How to view the liked posts of someone else on Instagram
Instagram cannot show you the entire history of someone else’s likes. You can view your friends’ posts and interact with them in the Activity tab (heart-shaped button) on your home screen. You will not be notified if friends like other posts.
To see what other people like, you must manually go to the post and check if they liked it. It is best to look at individual posts’ like activities to see if they liked them.
How to see the posts you liked on Instagram

Now you should see a list with the 300 most liked posts. To view the full post, tap any thumbnail. Or you can use the Sort and filter option at the top-right to sort by multiple criteria.
Instagram hides likes
Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. Facebook’s sister app, which focuses on visual content, has significantly impacted modern culture.
Instagram has played a significant role in fashion and beauty trends over the past decade. It is the home of many unique, often bizarre phenomena, including virtual celebrities, pet influencers, and even the Instagram face.
It brought fame to many and made them rich. This inspired many to dream of making money online.
The platform also played an essential role in creating high-quality standards for online sharing.
How to view your Instagram Like History
Viewing your “Like” history on other people’s posts is easy. With just a few taps, you can view your favorite posts, up to 300.
Using Chrome, Opera, and Other Browsers, you can view Instagram posts that you liked with Chrome.
Instagram has changed its extension functionality, so no extension will work for viewing likes from a browser as of June 19, 2022. It is unknown if they have changed the APIs of third-party users or created ways to limit third-party access. This could also be due to recent changes in useability.
We only found one extension that worked partially and isn’t currently working. The layout is the Chrome extension. It’s free to test but isn’t compatible with saves or likes.
How to view Instagram posts you like from the iPhone App
You first need to download the app for your iPhone to see posts you like on Instagram. These are the steps you need to take to see what you like:

- Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner.
- Select “Your activity” in the settings menu.
- Tap on “Interactions” under the “Your Activity” menu.
- Select “Likes” from the “Interactions” menu.
- All the recent posts you liked will be displayed. You can tap on any of them to see or dislike the post.
You can search for the username of the person who made the post you want to revisit using the search bar. Then, scroll down until you find it.
How to view your favorite posts on a PC
It’s impossible. Although you can like Instagram posts via the website or app, you won’t be able to view posts you liked on Instagram from a computer or desktop. This is because the web version of Instagram offers minimal functionality.
Windows and Mac users can simply install the Layoutify: Improved Layout For Instagram extension for Google Chrome. Although it alters the layout of Instagram, this extension allows you to get the job done. It can be installed to view your Liked Posts history on your laptop.
After installing Layoutify, go to instagram.com. Click the three horizontal dots in the top right.
Now you can view your favorite posts in a grid view from within Chrome. To view more posts, click on the “Load More” button at the bottom of the webpage.
Instagram’s decision not to allow likes was influenced by how important the platform is for modern culture. Experts predict that the changes will be positive for users. However, brands that use Instagram to market and sell face some challenges.
Influencer marketing must adapt to this new reality. However, specialized social media management tools that allow access to Instagram API will facilitate a smooth transition.
